The following is a list of California locations by crime rate. In 2012, the state reported 160,944 violent crimes (4.23 for every 1,000 people) and 1,049,465 property crimes (27.59 for every 1,000 people). Alpine County, California's smallest crime, had the highest violent crime rate at 11.14 crimes per 1,000 persons in 2009. It also had the highest property crime rate at 33.42 per 1,000 persons. San Joaquin County, with a much larger population, also ranked second in both respects. It had a violent crime rate of 8.13 and a property crime rate of 24.95. The counties with the highest violent and property crime rates had little in common, with location, population, population density, urbanization levels, incomes, and presence of minorities differing substantially. Modoc County had the lowest violent crime rate of any county in California at 1.04. It reported just ten violent crimes. The four counties which reported the lowest violent crime rates all had relatively low populations. Orange County had the lowest crime rate in California of any county with a population of over 1,000,000 at 2.48. Ventura and Marin counties had slightly lower violent crime rates. In a similar manner, most counties with the lowest property crime rates had relatively low populations. Orange County also had the lowest property crime rate of any county with a population of over 1,000,000 at 10.78. Again, Ventura County's violent crime rate was slightly lower than Orange County's, but Marin's was slightly higher. Cities like Industry and Emeryville had high violent and property crime rates because their daytime populations are much larger than their number of residents. Among cities for which this was not the case, Oakland had the highest violent and property crime rates for larger cities, at 19.93 and 65.94 respectively. Cities with the highest violent crime rates were generally economically disadvantaged urban localities with high numbers of minorities. This was also the case with the highest property crime rates, and these cities were larger than those with the highest violent crime rates. Areas with large amounts of tourism also had high crime rates in comparison with other cities. Six agencies reported no violent crimes whatsoever in 2009. The largest was Lake Shastina, which is located near Weed. All six of these locations were either in Los Angeles, Siskiyou, or Marin counties. Contrary to what one might expect, the cities with the lowest violent crime rates were not necessarily small. The very large City of Irvine, for instance, reported a violent crime rate of just 0.51. Many cities with the lowest crime rates had incomes above the state average. == Entire state == The following table includes the number of incidents reported and the rate per 1,000 persons for each type of offense. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「California locations by crime rate」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
